Let me tell you a story.
When i started building
my first drag car in GT4
(a Lancer EVO III) i decided
to log (no relation to
log of wood) all the mod's
etc i do to it so i can
see how much of a difference
some parts made to the
time. I was obviously
extremely bored, but also
showing signs of ingenuity,
ingenious and indications
of insanity. There are
only two cars on this
page. 1 + 1 = 2.
I recently
stumbled apon this page in my 'old GTSC pages'
folder (amongst many others which have made a
return, to the delight of all those who choose
to get delighted by it) and its actually not really
such a bad idea, so have bought this page back
from the dusty, spider and monster infested archives
(lets face it, its not much better being out of
the archives other than the fact you can see the
colour of the dust - which isn't really worth
seeing anyway) for the fact that i went through
all that effort of writing it down so mayaswell
make it public.
A
'run' is counted as one session of racing. Like
if i quit out of the race menu, that run is over
(oh noes!). Or if i go out of the menu to change
settings that run is over. Helps spread things
out a little. Like a knife does with margarine.
Basically
you have the car name, horsepower, drivetrain,
a photo then the first time it did when stock
standard. From then on you'll see the list of
all parts fitted before the second run, then the
second run and etcetera etcetera.
I
was silly enough to forget to include the hp figure
after each power modification, so lets just say
its upped by 700hp each run. So for the GT-R's
case it has 8,400hp+ on its last recorded run,
which might be ever so slightly incorrect.
Since
there is already so many paragraphs on this page
i made the executive decision to add one more,
this one. I hope you think it was worthwhile me
doing so. Now. Read on. :]

COMMENTS: Up
until the super slick Tyre's i thought this was
going to be a late ten second car at best, but
the new rubber bought me nearly two seconds. Like
the Skyline, i think this has the potential to
go faster too.
*moves finish line closer* Ahhh, there we go -
should go quicker now. :)

COMMENTS:
Overall i'm very pleased with this time, considering
the fact that it could only do 0:09.395 in Gran
Turismo 3! With a bit more tuning i'm sure it
can go faster too. Absolutely sure. In fact, i'm
so shore that... i mean so SURE that i ... hmmm....
lost my trail of thought - nevermind. It will
go faster, surely?
